This Privacy Policy describes how Bluyee Technology ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use the Baazzar mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data transparently and securely.

A. Information You Provide to Us Directly:

• Account & Profile Information: When you register, log in, or update your profile, we collect your Contact Number, Mobile Personal Identification Number (MPIN), Name, Address, City, and State. You may also optionally provide a Referral ID.
• Business Listing Information: If you choose to add a new business listing, we collect details such as the Business Name, Business Address, Business Category, Business Contact Number, WhatsApp Contact Number, and About Business description.
• Content You Upload: We collect images, photos, or PDF documents you choose to upload for your business listings using your device's camera or gallery.
• Communications: Information you provide when you contact us for support or inquiries (e.g., your email address).

B. Information Collected Automatically:

• Login Status & Preferences: We store your login status and your contact number locally on your device using SharedPreferences to facilitate automatic login and remember your preferences for a seamless experience.
• Device Identifiers (for Advertising): Our app uses Google Mobile Ads (google_mobile_ads) to display advertisements. This SDK may automatically collect certain device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID) and information about your app usage and interactions with ads to provide personalized advertising and measure ad performance. This data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and their advertising policies.
• Basic Device Information (via HTTP): When your app communicates with our servers via HTTP, some basic, non-unique device information (like device type or operating system) may be implicitly transmitted in standard HTTP headers.

3. How We Use Your Information:

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain Our Services:
  • To create and manage your user account.
  • To authenticate your login using your contact number and MPIN.
  • To enable automatic login and persistent sessions.
  • To display your user profile (name, city, points).
  • To provide area-wise information, offers, and discounts based on the city you select or your profile.
  • To allow you to list, manage, and view business profiles.
  • To facilitate the upload of images for business listings.
  • To communicate with you about your account, updates, and app-related information.
  • To calculate and display your earned points (from your actions and referrals).
• For Advertising: To display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads, which may use collected device identifiers to personalize ads.
• For Security and Fraud Prevention:
  • To maintain the security of your account and our services.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activities.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations:
  • To meet any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

4. How We Share Your Information:

We may share your information with the following categories of third parties for the purposes described below:

• Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:
  • API Providers: We use API services for login, user information retrieval, business listing management, and points calculation. Your contact number, MPIN, name, address, city, state, referral ID, business details, and images are transmitted to this API for core app functionality.
  • Hosting and Database Providers: For storing app data and user information.
• Advertising Partners: We share device identifiers (like advertising ID) and certain usage data with Google Mobile Ads to facilitate ad delivery and performance measurement within the App. Their use of this data is governed by their own privacy policies.
• Legal Compliance and Protection: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency). We may also disclose your information to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security:

• We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include using secure servers, and ensuring all data, including all API requests, is encrypted during transmission via HTTPS/SSL. We also implement access controls.
• Your login credentials (MPIN) are transmitted securely to our authentication servers. We do not store your plain-text MPIN on your device or our servers.
• Certain information, such as your contact number and login status, is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences for auto-login functionality.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can clear locally stored login data by logging out of the app.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have certain rights regarding your personal information:

• Access and Correction: You may access and update your profile information through the App's settings.
• Log Out: You can log out of the app, which will clear your locally stored login status and contact number, preventing automatic login.
• Ad Personalization: You can control personalized advertising settings on your device through your device's settings (e.g., Android's "Advertising ID" or iOS's "Limit Ad Tracking").
• Camera and Storage Permissions: You can manage camera and storage access permissions through your device settings. Disabling these may prevent you from uploading images for business listings.
• The users have the right to request account and data deletion.
• The steps you need to take (e.g., "You can request the deletion of your Baazzar App account and associated personal data by visiting our dedicated deletion request page: https://baazzar.in/DeleteAccount.aspx"). Upon a verified request, your personal account information, including your name, contact number, address, and associated business listing content (photos, descriptions), will be deleted or anonymized. Please note that certain data may be retained for a limited period to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes, as outlined in our Data Retention policy.

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at smshappy@gmail.com, and we will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy or your use of the Baazzar App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Balasore, Odisha, India.
